Conceived as a cross between the Intrepid and Nova Classes but larger than a Sovereign Class, the Relentless Class is the ultimate warship and a departure from Starfleet's usual intent for starships to be exploration vessels first that happen to be capable of engaging in combat. As a result of the Borg incursion (Star Trek Picard), Starfleet finally saw the writing on the wall and signed off on the construction of a warship. The result was the Relentless Dawn.</p> <p>I designed this ship in collaboration with Jamie Lofthouse at JLTV Digital. Originally, he contracted me to build a ship for a certain online game but towards the end of the build the contract fell through. We made the decision to keep the ship and see what adventures we could create for her. She was too beautiful to just let go of.</p> <p>In late 2025 we decided to create a web series based on the adventures of her crew and began gathering voice talent from friends, colleagues, and my YouTube subscribers.
